Blum Tip-On for Doors

Handle-less furniture is becoming more and more popular. TIP-ON for doors is the mechanical solution for opening doors. Doors open easily with just a light touch. With TIP-ON, doors close simply while magnets ensure the door is closed securely.

Blum TIP-ON Mechanism Sets

Short piston:

For overlay doors up to approx. 1300mm in height
For unsprung hinges
Adjustment from + 4.0/– 1.0mm

Long piston:

For overlay doors starting from approx. 1300mm in height or inset doors
For unsprung hinges
Adjustment from + 4.0/– 1.0mm

Sets include glue-on and screw-on catch plates

Blum Unsprung Clip Top Hinges

Tip-On for doors must be used with a Clip-Top unsprung hinge.

WARNING: If you are using the 170° hinge in furniture that can be accessed by small children it should be noted that it is possible for small fingers to get in between the working mechanism of the hinge. In these cases a 155° hinge could be used as an alternative or all relevant doors should be fitted with child safety latches. This warning should be passed on to subsequent users of the product.
