Purchasing Assistant (Part Time)

Working in the purchasing department the main role will be to support the existing team at all stages of the supply chain to ensure that material flow in all areas supports planned production and related functions. Other key responsibilities will include:

Placing purchase orders
Progressing and expediting purchase orders
Processing purchase order confirmations
Liaise with the sales team on; product queries, stock queries, price queries
Liaise with suppliers
Liaise with managers and supervisors across the business with any queries or issues they may have

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to effectively communicate via email
A friendly demeanour and positive attitude
The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Training on our own ERP system will be given

Previous experience of working in a Purchasing department would be beneficial but is not essential. The hours for this position are 09:30 - 14:30 Monday - Friday with some flexibility available.

HGV Class 2 Driver

We have an opportunity to join our transport team as an HGV Class 2 driver. The rewarding role will involve making multiple deliveries of furniture components while acting as an ambassador for the company.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Hold a Class 2 licence
Manual handling experience
Split Gearbox experience
Multi-drop delivery experience
