What does your role involve?
My role sees me acting as a part of the sales team here at HPP. My main responsibilities relate to our vinyl door offering, which sees me processing customer orders for vinyl doors to exacting standard and specifications, before passing these through to our manufacturing department ready for fabrication and dispatch.
I also keep in touch with our customers advising them on certain vinyl door specifications and letting them know the progress of their orders.
Best thing about working for HPP?
I am proud to be a part of the team at HPP. The company always appears to be striving to progress and to improve their processes, and this makes me feel secure in my job role.
I also enjoy the personal aspect of my job, which allows me to build good relationships with our customers, as I speak to them on a regular basis.
Your biggest challenge since starting at HPP?
Every day is different at HPP, and with this comes an array of different challenges.
I would say my greatest challenge is an ongoing one; working to the best of my ability every single day to ensure our customers are receiving the highest possible standard of service every time.
Biggest market challenges you foresee?
As the market is always changing, our biggest challenge is probably the continuous variations in customer buying trends.
However, HPP are accustomed to frequent product changes within the industry and therefore extremely fast to react to market demands.
What did you do before coming to HPP?
I previously worked as a gym instructor and a part time hairdresser.
These roles may seem quite different to the one I'm in now but there are plenty of similarities in the expectations for efficiency and great customer service.
Any hidden talents?
I enjoy cooking in my spare time.
I have a fondness for Indian food due to its diverse range, plus I can make a mean onion bhaji!
Favourite hobby?
Netball would have to be my all time favourite hobby because it gives me the chance to get physically active; getting me out and about, and away from a computer. It's a great way to relax and unwind whilst staying fit and healthy.
Favourite Film?
I can't say I have one particular favourite but I love comedy films, especially the old 'carry on' films which really are the best!
Dream holiday destination?
I have always wanted to jet off to the Maldives.
You only have to look at a few pictures to be blown away by the overwhelming beauty of the islands. It just looks like total paradise!
Biggest lesson in life?
I would say the biggest lesson I have learnt in my life is to live life to the full and have no regrets!
