Four of EGGER's established woodgrain décors are being given a new surface texture, from their existing ST15 Smoothtouch Velvet to the new ST7 Smoothtouch Fine Pearl.
While the surface texture change may be unnoticeable to some, there are those among our trade customers who have been long-term users of these particular décors and apart from the obvious 'ST' code change, would also notice the improved finish to these boards.
The outgoing ST15 texture has worked well with woodgrain décors, being a low-reflective, smooth flat surface, ideal for applications that require little maintenance.
The new ST7 Smoothtouch Fine Pearl is equally suitable for low maintenance applications, having a rather matte, neutral finish.
The four woodgrain décors receiving the new ST7 finish are:
- H1582 Ellmau Beech
- H1154 Lissa Oak
- H1521 Maple
- H3704 Tobacco Aida Walnut
The ST15 versions will be sold through and be naturally phased out in the coming weeks; some of the new ST7 boards are already available online here.
