Our newly opened Inspiration Centre has made a great start, after one of our customers brought his clients along to give them a hands-on experience at choosing décors and finishes for their redesigned kitchen.
The new centre, behind our trade counter, proved a real asset to long standing customer Abdul Malik of AM Construction, based in Darwen, Lancashire.
His clients, a couple from Altrincham, in Trafford, already had designs and drawings for the new kitchen prepared by their own designer and turned to Abdul for the materials, fixtures and fittings to bring it all to life.
He says: "We put the plans on the big screen and then started showing them the combinations of doors, worktops and board that would work. It was very successful because the client actually knew what they were getting into, what they were paying for. It was big help they could see and touch everything, it's much easier to make a decision."
Abdul, who was told about the centre by his Area Sales Manager Shaun Nolan, has been a HPP customer for more than 25 years, initially with his fitted furniture firm 2V3D Design, whose own premises were destroyed by fire 18 months ago.
He's now hoping the fitting of the new kitchen, part of bigger building project he is carrying out for the couple, will get underway in the new year and adds: "I'd do it again, 100 per cent. Before we went in the Inspiration Centre, I could show them all the fittings and accessories in the trade counter and say this is the spec, this is the quality."
The centre was officially opened in mid-October and is home to permanent display fixtures featuring the latest collections of décors and worktops from EGGER and Kronospan, as well as other product display stands in the future.
We also took the opportunity to announce our new trading partnership with the Soudal Group, the largest independent European manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and polyurethane foams, which you can read about here.
Soudal Group staff gave product demonstrations on the day and came along bearing a plethora of promotional and marketing materials.
As well as the dedicated space for displays, the centre will be used for meeting and educating customers and suppliers and holding events such as new product launches.
