Work is underway on a brand new marketing suite that will improve our interaction with customers while showcasing products from our key trading partners Kronospan, Egger and Blum.
It's being developed behind the trade counter, giving us a dedicated space for displays, meeting and educating customers and suppliers, training our staff and holding events such as new product launches.
Marketing and Business Development Director, Dan Mounsey says: "At the moment, we have various meeting rooms that work for certain circumstances, but this will give us an extra dimension - a different room for different purposes.
"The area is quite versatile, so we'll be able to manoeuvre things around to make sure we have a focal point for whatever the topic is on that particular occasion."
The suite will feature wall displays of Kronospan and Egger's latest products and a Blum area showcasing its latest innovations such as REVEGO the pocket door system that allows living areas to be opened up when needed and concealed again when not in use.
There will also be a desk area with seating for up to 10 people, facilities for freestanding displays and an 85-inch audio visual screen to show presentations.
Sales Director Gareth Evans adds: "It is something that Kronospan and Egger, as well as Blum, have been keen to support us with for quite some time, so the fitting out is something they will be heavily involved with to make sure it shows their products in the way they want it, as well as giving them the opportunity to train our staff on what to present and how to present it.
"Ultimately, we're hoping the experience that customers get when they come in will be better than being in one of the existing meeting rooms. It's perfectly situated next to the trade counter where we have all products on display."
Work to line and plaster the walls, install power points and lay flooring is now finished, allowing contractors for all three keys partners to start on their respective areas over the next few weeks. We'll then be completing the suite, which has had an air conditioning/heating system installed, with some carefully chosen products of our own.
