With matt surfaces firmly on trend, we are launching a brand-new product called PerfectSense Texture TM9 from our partner manufacturer Egger.

Designed particularly with vertical applications in mind, the lacquered boards, which feature a sustainable chipboard core, offer a cost-effective, high-end appearance that is warm and velvety to the touch and feature anti-fingerprint and antibacterial properties.

The UK stock range, known as TM9, comprises 10 popular décors, including new on-trend greens and elegant greys alongside black, white and blue options - all resistant to abrasion, impact and scratches - and available with matching edging.

We're proud to be an Egger Diamond Distributor and we are the only distributor to offer our trade customers the unique service of processing full panel sheets from the entire Egger Decorative Collection into made-to-measure doors or cut-to-specification orders.

All the TM9 décors are also available as doors using our Optima service via our dedicated Optima range page at www.hpponline.co.uk/optima

It features a specially created custom door builder for the making quoting instant and ordering simple.

Our account holders can choose any Egger décor with a matching or accented edging tape, input the component sizes and the optimiser will create an instant price. It even creates a visual representation of the full sheet of the chosen design to help trade customers get the most for their money.

The jobs are optimised and priced in real time, day and night, and multiple quotes can be saved and modified before ordering.

And in keeping with both firms' drive to put sustainability at the core of our businesses, the TM9 range has impressive green credentials with its various elements made up of 89% of materials from renewable sources, 34% recycled materials, and 37% by-products from the sawmill industry.

Our Business Development and Marketing Director, Dan Mounsey, says: "Chipboard, which is at the core of the TM9, is a carbon negative material, it stores more carbon than it releases. Chipboard has a 10 to 20-year lifecycle and then you can recycle it again afterwards."

Egger, which has been supplying HPP throughout its 30-year history, has created a dedicated area on its website showing how its teams sustainably source the materials used to make its wood-based products.

Its founder Fritz Egger Senior is famous in the timber-based product industry for his comment: "Wood is far too valuable to just throw away."

Since then, Egger UK has gone on to become the largest user of recycled wood in the industry, with 40% of each of its chipboard panels being made using recycled wood.
