Staff Get Two Bites at 30th Anniversary

Our team all enjoyed a first bite at our 30th anniversary celebrations - with a second one to come!

Because Covid-19 has put paid to any large-scale celebration on the anniversary itself, we commissioned some huge birthday cakes so everyone could have a slice to mark the occasion.

In addition, employees received commemorative goody boxes, each one containing an invite to a more elaborate celebration next spring, and a letter of thanks from HPP's founders, brothers Stephen and Martin Hill.

Five of the boxes also contained golden tickets entitling the lucky finders to either a gift voucher or a day off work.

Dan Mounsey, our Marketing and Business Development Director, said: "Under the current circumstances we thought it was too much of a risk to bring all the staff together in big groups, so we decided to leave the main celebration until next spring. Hopefully it will be safer by then.

"The letters from Stephen and Martin were a thank you to all the staff for sharing the journey over the last 30 years. It's amazing to see how far we've come in that time."

The birthday cakes were made by Sparkle Cakes on Broadway, Chadderton.

Next year's celebrations will centre on a large marquee near reception, where events will include food, entertainment and the recognition of various achievements throughout the workforce.
