As a proud Egger Diamond distributor, we are delighted to introduce the new Egger Decorative Collection 2020-22, a complete assembly of MFCs, worktops and edging options.
The updated and enhanced Collection supersedes the 2017-2019 range, and whilst some of the existing décors have been carried over, there have been significant updates and developments to décor options to reflect the ever-changing trends of interior design.
Designed to inspire architects, fabricators, distributors and end-consumers alike, the new Collection offers an increased range of MFC décor combinations and matching products. All décors are available with edging solutions that perfectly match but equally there's emphasis on broad range of Accent edging for creative and conceptual designs. Attention has also been given to the coordinated approach and support of the Collection, from suggested combinations and moodboards to digital décor visualisation and 3D rendering, including a new Egger Decorative app that brings décor selection right up to date.
There are brand new décors, new textures, new edging options and Egger's premium decorative board range - PerfectSense - gets some new décors to its sublime gloss and matt selections.
New Structures
Across the range there are 30 brand-new décors, offering exciting possibilities for interior design. Some existing décors have been given a makeover, making them more realistic than ever before. To that end, Egger has introduced three new textures: ST19, ST20 and ST32. In fact there are more than ten unicolour décors that are now available in four different structures, offering a vast selection of painted timber-appearance options.
- ST19 - A linear texture reminiscent of lightly-planked timber, with a subtle matt-gloss effect designed to create an authentic woodgrain appearance. The ST19 texture features on 20 décors in the new Collection, from realistic woodgrains to with solid colours for that painted wood look.
- ST20 - Metallic décors are ever-popular in on-trend furniture design, and the new ST20 Metal Brushed texture brings a pearlescent, finely sanded metal aspect to these décors.
- ST32 - Looking to create that aged vintage patina? Then the new ST32 texture is perfect for that application, designed to add a worn woodgrain appearance.
Feelwood
The Feelwood range has now been extended to 29 options, with the addition of 4 new décors:
- H3330 Natural Anthor Oak
- H3176Pewter Halifax Oak
- H1336 Sand Grey Glazed Halifax Oak
- H3178 Black Glazed Halifax Oak
With such a range of Feelwood décors available, the emphasis is on realism: the Feelwood range contains no less than six different textures, bringing authentic woodgrain and timber finishes to the masses. From traditional brushed woodgrains with significant knots and cracks, to softer, elegant textures, the Feelwood collection is a striking, cost effective alternative to real wood or veneer. Add in the additional benefits of fade/ scratch resistance and easy to clean and maintain, all of the Feelwood décors are easily be combined with other woodgrains or unicolurs to create a superior high-end finish.
PerfectSense
Egger's premium range of decorative surfaces - PerfectSense - with its ultra-gloss and matt UV lacquered décors has also received an injection of new finishes for the 2020-22 Collection. In the PerfectSense Matt range, there are five new décors: Indigo Blue, White Levanto Marble, Light Grey Metal Rock, Black Pietra Grigia and Dark Steel, with an equal number in the Gloss range: Cashmere Grey, Stone Grey, White Levanto Marble, Light Grey and Black Pietra Grigia. The addition of the material options to the PerfectSense range is significant: it allows for the stunning fusion between sublime matt and gloss décors to rival uber-expensive materials such as real marble. The glass-like reflective qualities of the gloss and the velvety feel of the matt finish in these new colours is bound to create some excitement amongst interior designers and end-consumers alike.
Edging
Edging options used to be a practical necessity, designed to cover the exposed edge of wood based panels. The 2017-2019 Collection introduced us to Accent edging, making the edge a design feature. The new Collection builds on this: every décor in the vast range has a selection of matching options. However the Accent edging options - contrasting dual, triple colour and material edging options have been greatly enhanced, taking the design and finish of board panels to something far beyond just a practical finish, allowing for the creation of high-end installations.
New Worktops Range
In addition to the Decorative Collection 2020-22, Egger has also launched a new and improved collection of beautifully detailed and durable worktops in a range of sizes and thicknesses, from the slim 16mm MDF core worktops to more traditional 25mm, 38mm square-edged and 38mm postformed options. Together with matching upstands, splashbacks and edging options, the new worktops are perfectly aligned with the MFC offerings - it's now easier than ever before to fully coordinate doors, carcasses and worktops in a range of textures to suit.
