With our company expanding to meet our customers' needs, some of the team here at HPP recently took part in various health and safety courses that not only helped them to gain another qualification, but also ensures a high standard of health and safety is being practiced throughout our 200,000sq ft manufacturing facilities.
Working in partnership with North Lancs Training Group, Fay, Bart and James were trained to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Safety to ensure all risk assessments were up to date and our working environment is constantly being checked to ensure our staff are safe, healthy and content within their work space.
In addition to the trio's training course, a number of our team leaders also took part in an internally run NVQ Level 2 course to help them brush up on their skills and ensure safety is high on the priority list across the board.
Andrew Moores, Phil Eaton, Colin Miles, Anthony Platt and Graham Wilson all took part, and have helped to implement some new practices within HPP since that training.
The investment in training our team further has helped all our staff members learn more about key issues within a manufacturing environment, such as noise awareness, manual handling, air quality and materials handling, which when aware of these common issues, makes for a healthier, happier and more productive team at HPP, delivering you the products you need, in a safe and efficient manner.
